A STORsquare Community Partner Interview
Take a look at the first of a series of videos from Stephen’s “top secret” Kennesaw studio as he speaks with our business and community partners while practicing good social distancing. His first guest is Rick Sands, the owner of ARS Fire and Water Restoration in Kennesaw, GA.
ARS handles all kinds of mitigation work in the Northeast Cobb area and beyond focusing in content restoration and emergency response to fire, water, and treefall damage.
Businesses that Care
Both ARS and STORsquare position themselves in crowded markets and compete not solely on price, but on how they work with their clients during a stressful time. While a home move is typically nowhere near as stressful as a fire or water loss, our clients are both going through changes that impact their daily lives. Our company cultures overlap in the following ways:

Restoration and Portable Storage
We proudly provide ARS and other restoration companies in North Georgia with portable storage containers. When the contents of a home need to be temporarily removed for the completion of restoration work, a STORsquare unit is a great tool. The contents can be removed from around the damaged area, without having to take up additional living space AND without having to be removed from the client’s property entirely. A unit can also give Rick’s team the room they need to work. For some minor restoration jobs, the unit may be onsite for a few days. Other, more major jobs can take a few weeks or months before the home us fully restored to its pre-incident condition. Our storage containers work for both.
Emergency Response
Fire and water do not work a 9-5 job, they can strike at any time. Because of this, ARS fields a 24/7 emergency response phone line. As a storage container provider to ARS, STORsquare also needs to react quickly in order to best serve the client. We are often able to react within 24-48 hours of the call to have onsite storage in place. This allows the damage recovery process to begin promptly, and the homeowner know that action is being taken in a timely manner.
